I do my most creative thinking (and painting) in my dreams. I only wish I could remember them all. When I do remember, it typically is a colorful painting that I just have to try my hand at as soon as I get up (yes, painting in my pajamas). For the Spring 2016 Coordinated Collection, I decided to do something completely different ... and, yes, I dreamed this. My part of the collection is made up of tools to paint your world with that also coordinates with the rest of the coordinated collection offerings. My Rainbow Dreams collection is the result.
The Rainbow Dreams Action takes an image and posterizes it. It mainly creates a grayscale posterization that you then color with a gradient map. Sounds complicated, but believe me, it's not. The action contains 2 parts -- the action itself and a set of 4 simple gradients. I've even created a YouTube video that steps you through the action and shows some examples -- https://youtu.be/_aOPxlh9hK8.
This action has been tested and will run in PSE 11+ and PSCS2+.
The output from this Action is ok for commercial use along with S4H, S4O, and Personal Use friendly. This means that you may NOT distribute the actual action or gradients; only what you've created in using them. You may also use the output for freebies.
No credit is required for the use of these items, but it's always appreciated.
